Landscapes and the Future
Project Objectives
Students were given three minutes to create a drawing based on the given prompt, these drawing were compared to what an AI image generator was able to create.

"Design a landscape with a meandering path through a couple of trees and a seating element"
"Design a rendered plan view of a children playground"​
​"Design a small bridge over a creek in a neighborhood, with people on the bridge and kid in the water"
Results
Throughout the activity it was clear that with three minutes AI could produce better digital graphic then the students could using hand graphic within the same time frame. Though it may not be a fair comparison but it shows the AI within the profession could be a useful tool to produce quick graphic as precedent imagery within client meeting or presentations. But from the graphics AI produced there were many mistake within the graphics that designer would be able to avoid., such as dead ends in the playground plans. Overall, we learned that AI can be a useful tools for some aspects of the profession such as rendering images but will not be taking our jobs in term of designing.
